Telegram bot and channels

Styrar uses one Telegram bot (@StyrarBot) for two related workflows: linking a chat to your workspace for quick actions, and connecting a Telegram channel so you can publish and schedule posts like any other social target.

Chat workspace connector

The Telegram bot is live under Settings → Integrations. Link a chat to a personal or company workspace, then use guided menus for drafts, links, and other workspace actions without opening the dashboard.

Typical setup:

Open Settings → Integrations and choose Telegram, or start from the bot with /chat-connect.
Approve the link and pick personal or a company.
Use /workspace in Telegram if you need to confirm or switch the linked workspace.

If the bot sends a connect link with underscores, read it as plain text. Telegram’s formatting can hide parts of those links.

Publishing to Telegram channels

Connect a Telegram channel under Settings → Social, then select it in compose Post to the same way you pick Instagram or X.

Public channels: connect with the channel @username.
Private channels: follow the short connect steps with @StyrarBot.

After connect, you can draft, schedule, and publish to the channel from the dashboard and Android compose. Channel posts follow the same scheduling and calendar tools as other platforms.

Discord and other chat bots

Discord, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Google Chat bots appear under Settings → Integrations as Coming soon until they launch.

Troubleshooting

Bot menus keep spinning: send a fresh message in the chat, try /workspace, or reconnect from Integrations.
Channel missing in Post to: confirm the channel is connected under Settings → Social in the active workspace.
Private channel connect fails: restart the connect steps with @StyrarBot and confirm you are an admin of the channel.
