Styrar 0.0.9 beta: MCP Apps, Sites themes, and multi-brand polish
Released Aug 9, 2026
Interactive MCP Apps cards in supported assistants, Sites theme Git sync and CLI, clearer multi-brand switching and Community scope, media library parity on mobile, desktop notifications when the tab is in the background, and more reliable X community text.
Styrar 0.0.9 beta focuses on day-to-day product polish: richer MCP surfaces, Sites theme workflows, and clearer multi-brand work across dashboard and mobile. Highlights include MCP Apps cards, theme Git sync, and a full media library experience on Android.
MCP Apps
- Supported MCP clients can show interactive cards instead of plain text for common workspace tools
- Cards cover pending approvals, the content calendar, link analytics, the content planning board, Community inbox, short links, social overview, campaign reports, and page analytics
- Actions such as approve or reject and moving Kanban cards work from the card when the client supports MCP Apps
- Clients that do not support the extension still get the usual text responses
Sites themes
- Connect a GitHub repository to keep a Sites theme package in sync (copy into a draft version on push, optional publish)
- Use the Styrar CLI
styrar themecommands to validate and install themes locally - Theme packages stay documented and available for Sites; public marketplace signing comes later
Brands and workspaces
- Workspace badges and titles show Company | Brand or Company | All brands when a company scope is active
- Switching brand or company uses a short full-page transition and refreshes the current section with the new scope
- In All brands, lists for posts, links, bio, sites, Community, content planning, and People show brand ownership labels
- Community comments and DMs follow the active brand's connected accounts (All brands stays the combined view)
- Connecting social accounts from an active brand binds to that brand (Facebook Pages still stay unassigned until you pick one)
Media on mobile
- The media library on mobile mirrors dashboard folders, review status, usage, discussion, access grants, and versions
- Pick files and manage library detail without leaving the app
Notifications and Community
- When the dashboard tab is backgrounded, live alerts can show as desktop notifications (after you allow them in the browser)
- X posts and replies in Community keep full tweet text instead of truncated API snippets
- Connected X accounts refresh tokens on a schedule so you reconnect less often for day-to-day publishing and inbox use
What to expect next
We are still in active beta. Cloud storage import, calendar sync, WhatsApp, and the Discord bot remain on the integrations roadmap. Sites Products and Events stay Coming soon for most workspaces.
