Orbit AI assistant

Orbit is Styrar’s AI assistant. Use it on the full Orbit page or as Copilot, the side panel (web) or bottom sheet (Android) that understands the page you are on.

Orbit can draft posts, pull analytics, manage links, and help with other workspace tasks when your selected model supports those tools. It only acts within the same permissions as your signed-in user.

Opening Orbit

  • Sidebar: open Orbit.
  • Copilot: open the floating assistant from pages where it is available. Copilot is hidden while you are already on the full Orbit page, and during sign-in or onboarding.
  • If you are already on Orbit and click it again in the sidenav, the page focuses the composer instead of opening a second panel.

Available models load when you open the assistant. Today ChatGPT and Google Gemini are selectable; Anthropic and xAI may appear as coming soon.

Skills and context

Under Settings → AI assistant, maintain markdown skill documents for the active brand or personal workspace. Skills give Orbit lasting brand tone, product facts, and recurring instructions.

On many product pages, Copilot shows a banner when it has context for that page. That helps Orbit answer questions about the current post, bio, campaign plan, note, media file, or analytics view.

From a note, use Turn into campaign or Turn into post to open Copilot with the note already in context. From the media library, use Analyze with AI to cache a summary (OCR and, for video/audio, a transcript), then Create post with Orbit to draft a caption with the file attached. Analysis uses the same AI credits as other Orbit features; reopening a file reuses the cache unless you choose Re-analyze.

Conversation history syncs across devices. Reopen past threads from the Orbit page or Copilot history.

Voice

Orbit supports push-to-talk (mic on the composer) on web and mobile. Speech is transcribed and sent as a normal chat message, so the same workspace tools still apply.

Optional Speak replies reads the final assistant answer aloud (device text-to-speech). Toggle it from the composer.

Orbit Voice starts a live voice conversation (OpenAI Realtime or Grok Voice) for brainstorming (for example planning a campaign). It does not use the Gemini/Claude chat model picker. Prefer draft or schedule commit modes unless you clearly ask to publish. After seeding a Campaign Plan, Orbit summarizes short refs (S/B/L/P) you can open in the campaign hub or Content Planning board.

You can also connect ChatGPT or Claude via MCP (Settings → Integrations) so their voice modes can operate Styrar with the same tools.

Credits and image generation

AI usage draws from your workspace AI credits. Check remaining balance from the Orbit page, and top up from Settings → Billing or Settings → AI credits when needed.

Orbit can generate images into the media library when image generation is available for your workspace. Generated files behave like other library assets you can attach to posts.

Practical tips

  • Write skills as short, durable facts, not one-off chat prompts.
  • Prefer Copilot when you are already editing a page and need a quick change.
  • Review anything Orbit drafted before you publish.
  • Switch models if one provider is slow or unavailable; your history stays in the workspace.
