Content planning
Content planning adds a board pipeline next to the familiar status board and calendar. Use it to move ideas from brief to publish with custom stages, tags, and optional approval handoffs.
Open Content → Plan for the board, Content → List for a filterable list, and Content → Timeline for a time-based view. Search and filters stay in the link so you can share a view with a teammate.
On Android, planning views appear when your workspace has access. Filters sit behind a filter control next to the workspace badge.
Who can use it
Company owners and admins, and personal workspace owners, can run planning when it is available for the workspace.
Members with write access can create and move cards according to their role. The Client role is read-oriented: clients can view boards and act on approval tasks, but they cannot drag cards or create planning items.
Cards, stages, and tags
Each card is a work item. Cards can link to posts, short links, or bio updates so the same pipeline covers more than social captions.
Stages are columns on the board. Drag a card between stages on web or mobile. Admins can rename stages, reorder them, and attach an approval flow that starts when a card enters a stage.
Tags help you group work (campaign, channel, priority). Add or remove tags on the card without changing its stage.
Approvals from the board
When a stage is set to start an approval flow, moving a card into that stage can begin review automatically. Cards show approval status so you do not need a separate queue to see what is waiting.
Approvers act from the post approval panel with the same role rules as elsewhere in Styrar. Clients and reviewers can approve or reject without full editing rights.
Suggested workflow
- Create a card with a clear title and due date.
- Attach the draft post, link, or bio change when it exists.
- Move the card through research, draft, review, and ready-to-publish stages.
- Use an approval stage before anything goes live for regulated brands.
- After publish, move the card to a done stage or archive it from the list view.
Keep stage names short and specific. If two teams share one board, include brand or client context in the card title.
Personal vs company boards
Company boards belong to the active company (and brand when a brand is selected). Personal workspaces have their own board. Always check the workspace switcher before creating cards so work lands in the right place.
