Links

Links

Short links, A/B tests, and conversion pixel on destination pages.

Styrar short links do more than redirect: they carry campaign UTMs, run A/B destination tests, and can report conversions from pages you do not control (a Shopify storefront, a landing page builder, a partner site).

This section covers measuring what happens after the click, especially the conversion pixel on your destination page.

The click-to-conversion loop

  1. A visitor clicks your short link (from a post, QR code, or email).
  2. Styrar records the click, applies routing or A/B rules, and redirects to the destination URL with a one-time styrar_ck token.
  3. The conversion pixel on that destination page reports signups, purchases, or custom events back to Styrar, attributed to the link and A/B variant.

For real-time notifications when links change or convert, pair this with Events and Webhooks (link.clicked, link.experiment.completed).
